Positive experience: Part of a company that is only taking private patients locally. Excellent dentist with a great chairside manner. If you have mobility problems, be aware that two of the surgeries are up a difficult staircase. There is one surgery at ground level.

Fantastic experience: I had a really positive experience at my dentist recently. I went in for a white filling, and the whole process was smooth and completely stress-free. The dentist was professional, gentle, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped put me at ease. The procedure itself was quick and surprisingly comfortable, and I’m really happy with the result—the filling looks completely natural, and you wouldn’t even know it’s there. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit a pleasant experience from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for high-quality dental care.

Negative experience: Seems impossible for them to keep a booking unfortunately now looking to take my kids private elsewhere. The amount of cancellations by this practice is ridiculous. One of my daughters is type 1 diabetic and as part of her treatment she needs to have sugar or sweet drinks. So looking after her teeth at a young age is obviously very important. Unfortunately this place doesn't seem to be able to function. I'm sure the staff are under pressure but the amount of cancelled appointments has gone beyond a joke. I wonder if it's due to people paying for expensive treatments that bumps NHS bookings...

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. We are treated calmly, with patience and our concerns are always listened to and acted upon. I can highly recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: Very poor experience from this practice, it used to be great until COVID. Tried multiple times to make an appointment but every time I booked, both for myself and my children, it was subsequently cancelled by the practice, then my dentist went onto maternity leave and I was not allowed to book with any other dentist despite requesting several times. By the time she had returned from maternity leave I had been removed from the NHS list for not being seen within the allotted time frame! I even brought my daughter for an appointment once to be told on arrival that the dentist hadn't turned up, but nobody had bothered to let us know. I now am unable to find another NHS dentist through no fault of my own and have had to seek private treatment the last year. I am also not impressed with the dentist telling me to stop taking my medication and move to a hot country to cure my health issues, highly inappropriate.

Negative experience: The feeling one is left with as a patient of this dentist is one of a lump of meat on a conveyor belt. The dentist here is always in a rush. Patients are viewed as a means to fill columns in spreadsheets, to reach quotas demanded by corporate management. This, it seems, is very much the experience at just about all dentists now. The particular dentist I saw here, however, was far worse. There I am, laid out in the chair, mouth wide open with hard metal instruments being poked around and digging into my teeth, and the dentist sparks up a conversation with her assistant about another member of staff. They are being far from complementary about this person. It is as if I am unconscious, a mere piece of meat on a slab, being disected. Not a human being. I was offered no anaesthetic for the filling I was to receive, nor any details as to the nature of the procedure. I presumed this was because it was such a minor filling, far too shallow to require pain medication. But, no. The drilling here was deep and the pain excruciating. It went on and on. At multiple points my body jerked involuntarily in the chair. This was met with apparent annoyance, not sympathy. Never was my obvious experience of sharp pain taken as a signal to offer anesthetic. Once the filling was in, it needed grinding down as it was protruding too far. After several attempts to grind it down she gave up grinding the new filling and decided to grind down the perfectly good, non-filled tooth below the one with the new filling. I immediately stopped her and asked why she was grinding down a perfectly good tooth. To which she replied that it was standard procedure. What nonsense! And utterly without consultation whatsoever. Avoid this dentist, at all costs. I refuse to go back despite not being able to find another practice taking new patients, even as a private patient. What a mess our underfunded health services are in!

Negative experience: Poor experience with Andrea. Waited over half an hour. Rude personal comments made. Ignored my minor tooth ache. Charged for an xray I didn’t need. Then insisted I spent money on other treatments. Tried to book these treatments with a different dentist but told I couldn’t….. what a con…worse than a car showroom!

Fantastic experience: I was terrified of going to the dentist for years, and had most of my treatment under sedation in Bournemouth, My dentist was so good at my dentist, and gradually gave me my confidence back, and with their support I can sit in the chair and have any treatment with being so nervous 10/10 Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: I unfortunately had a filling come away from a front tooth, I felt awful and embarrassed.....I did not anyone to see it. I managed to get an appointment quickly with a lady dentist....she gave me advice on what she could do for me, after discussing my options I went for veneers on my two front teeth....she worked on my teeth for a mould to be taken. I then had to go back for another mould to be taken.....my third appointment was to have the veneers fitted. The whole experience was amazing from the receptionist, dentists and assistance, I could not thank them enough.....thank you once again x

Negative experience: Start the conversation by telling the receptionist ( not Julie, we will get to that later ) my DOB 3 times - to be asked the same 3 times a totally incorrect date. I’m then informed I’ve been de-registered as I hadn’t been there since 2013 ( farcical given they didn’t sort the current issue I have not a year ago) and ended up going to Poland to have teeth removed due tk this issue. Informed by that dentist, had he not seen me I would have lost all my top teeth due to this recurring abcess !!! Now Julie, is listening to this next to her colleague who says nothing and hands the phone over to her only to ask me extremely aggressively what I need ( not like they hadn’t managed to find me o the system eventually after I’m assuming imputing correct data. Long and the short. No experience how to deal with patients, total lack of knowledge and just rude arrogant staff. I used to love this place , brought cakes and donuts as I respected the team that have all sadly left- what you have here is beyond words that google will allow me to use here. Totally unprofessional - not helpful and here I am still with an abcess 2 years on!!!

Fantastic experience: Even with their short staffing issues, I had a perfect experience with Nuno and the assistant (who I didn’t catch her name!). I was very nervous and they both put me at ease and I had a perfect experience. Completely painless filling and looking great. So thank you!

Fantastic experience: Knowing how short staffed they are I managed to get a emergency appointment the dentist I saw was so gentle and polite gave me a prescription for my abscess all the staff are so friendly as I’m a very nervous customer hopefully dentists will be back from leave then everything will be back to normal

From general check ups to dealing with my first tooth infection from a broken tooth and it’s eventual extraction. Everything explained really clearly, and gentle, sensitive treatment. And all very friendly.

My Options provides additional services which suits me has having Autism I have issues with crowded spaces so the prompt service I receive is refreshing. I would help If monthly plans were available so I could budget more effectively for my treatment. All in all a fantastic service that suits my lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: Came here today to book the whole family in ( 2 adults and 3 small children) as I've been finding it hard to get registered with another NHS dentist in the area after being mucked around with cancellations of appointments made in the past with former dentist. Upon arrival staff were really friendly and the dentist we saw (Aleksandra) was amazing with the kids and us. Gave loads of advice but in a really good way not as a lecture. So happy with have registered here. My oldest child can't wait to go back so shows what a great/positive experience it was for her & the rest of us. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Had an emergency appointment here and the dentist was very unhelpful. I told her I was in pain and have 2 cracked teeth and she said she couldn’t help me. She was also very late for my appointment.
