Negative experience: This dentist used to be brilliant but since it’s gone private it’s is terrible they are doing building work inside the building while open and patients having treatment so not hygienic they are not qualified to issue antibiotics if infection after treatment the dentist is not good at all the practice was much better before private and they could issue prescription if needed it’s a lot of money to pay for poor service and untrained staff

Fantastic experience: I’m very very nervous of dentists after a bad experience, and I’m also needle phobic. Every experience I have had with Swathi has been a really positive one, even having injections. She is very gentle and kind and has restored my confidence in having to visit the dentist. I hope she never leaves. All the team are lovely from reception to the dental nurses. Highly recommend if you are nervous of having dental treatment.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible experience so far , my husband was taken on in May as a NHS patient only to he told they they have not renewed their NHS licence and are going to he only private as of the 30th of June. This was not related at any point and when querying the receptionist had such a terrible attitude.!

Negative experience: They have great dentists here but unfortunately are let down by their admin/reception team. I won’t be going here again which is a shame because the dentist I had was brilliant but I am now out of pocket by a lot more than I should be due to the reception team. This is following multiple attempts on my end to sort this out. I have given up chasing now and have just accepted the loss, just wanted to warn others.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing. I needed a couple of fillings today and was seen by Swathi and Grace. I am a very anxious patient and they both put me at ease, explaining everything and making sure I felt in control of what was happening. Grace put on some music and Swathi used a great distraction technique. I only managed 1 filling today,so I'm back again next week. I'm not as nervous about the next procedure because of the care and empathy shown as well as the skill of Swathi. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I don’t tend to write many reviews, however in this case I have made an exception. The receptionist Collette is a lovely person who welcomes you when you enter the surgery. Always time for a chat and a catch up before I then go to see my dentist. Swathi is an excellent dentist with a great way of making you feel calm and relaxed. Everything is explained in detail which makes you feel you are dealing with a very professional person. She is assisted by Grace who always greets you with a fabulous smile and is always there to help. All in all in great team.

Fantastic experience: I managed to get an appointment when I needed one Swathi and Grace was amazing, I had Two teeth taken out and one filling and I didn’t feel a thing 10 out of 10 to the staff here ! The lady on reception was lovely too !!

Negative experience: Having been with the practice for nearly 30 years, I would have recommended it. But since it changed hands to my dentist, they have unregistered many NHS patients, saying they missed appointments which were infact the appointments were cancelled by the dentist. I would not recommend this dentist anymore, or any other my dentist practice, as they have all gone the same way. Only interested in private patients now.

Fantastic experience: I visited this dentist for my routine checkup. I was welcomed by Sharon who was so lovely. My checkup was with Swathi and Grace, they were both so friendly and professional and I also had a hygienist appointment with Helen and she was so lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend! Negative experience: My experience has been very poor, haven't been seen in 17 months for a checkup due to various problems or sickness. Was told I would have to wait to October this year, well over 2 years since a checkup. Shockingly poor. My contract hasn't been met in my payment plan for what I'm supposed to be receiving, and my experience of customer service has been poor. Always had to chase never been contacted when I was told I would be.

Fantastic experience: I came to this dentist for treatment. I was very nervous, the reception staff (Sharon) was very welcoming. Grace comforted me throughout the procedure, was very professional and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: I have been a patient of this practice for over 30 years and the quality of treatment and attitude of the staff has gone worse since it was taken over by Mydentist. I was told that the dentists cannot perform a root canal treatment and having it done elsewhere I am now denied of a benign tooth filling there. This is plainly put is a shocking attitude by this practice and leaves me no option but to go private elsewhere. I would also like to see the front desk staff to be more compassionate and customer friendly.

Fantastic experience: Had a really good experience at this dentist. The whole team was friendly and professional, and everything was explained clearly. Grace, the dental assistant, was especially helpful and made the appointment go smoothly. Overall, a solid place to go for dental care.

I was particularly nervous as this was my first visit to this dentist but the receptionist Collette picked up on this straight away and was so lovely and reassuring making me feel at ease within a few minutes .. what a lovely bubbly lady she is .. a total asset .. the dentist was very professional and very diligent .. overall a very good experience

Fantastic experience: They were amazing the staff, dentist and nurse. I'm not a big fan of needles and they were really nice and talked threw everything with me and helped the whole procedure go so smoothly that I didn't even realise when it was all finished. I am now no longer in any pain so thank you sreenath and your nurse for helping me feel comfortable defo booking you the next time I need a tooth ripping out next time

Negative experience: Today 29th April 2025, I had called for an urgent review for increasing and non resolving pain and swelling of gum, as I am in severe pain. The receptionist, Sian, told me that the earliest date to see the dentist was 12th May. I requested for earlier as I was in pain and wanted and emergent review and assessment. The receptionist replied dismissively saying that it's always an emergency. I found this very unprofessional with no regard for a my symptoms. As an NHS specialist, I would never overplay my symptoms and find it shocking to see such lack of empathy and unprofessional attitude. Hope this issue is addressed so that others do not have to experience such treatment. Please train your front desk staff.

The clearcorrect process was very straightforward and the time with the aligners went very quickly. I can now smile with more confidence!!

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would give an excellent review on a dentist but the Abergele branch of My Dentist are brilliant. Sharon the receptionist is how customer service should be, she should be giving lessons in Customer Service. My Dentist Lyubomir and his lovely assistant are doing a great job for which I am very appreciative.

His Nurse took me into see the dentist and made me feel relaxed as she could see I was very nervous. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. I would highly recommend this practice. Fantastic experience: Great first visit since Covid-19 restrictions, clean and quiet waiting reception, warm welcome and very helpful,, Tony my dentist did a fantastic repair on my missing front filling, he talked me through the procedure he was going to do and was excellent, I later learned that it was his first day at this practice, Tony repaired my smile A++

Never had any issues with my dentist and I have been coming since I was a child, and even my children come to this dentist, I find the staff are always helpful and the dentist always kind and very reassuring when we enter the room. Can’t fault the service or the team who are providing it.

Negative experience: Family appointment made, we all turned( 4 Children) up apart from my Wife as she had to look after our 3 month old daughter who came down with a high temperature a couple of hours earlier. then to be told she had been struck off as she had missed her appointment. we have been using the same dentist there for 25 years. Appalling behavior, since they have cancelled on us in the past. Such a shame Elwy Dental practice is no longer, they would of not treated people like that.

Negative experience: Abysmal... four referrals from our orthodontist to urgently extract my sons tooth ,none acted on or faced with stupid lame excuses . Last appointment 23/1/18 no record of it though we had the letter in black and white , another waste of time . Disgraceful

Negative experience: Appalling practice, dental appointments cancelled and then taking you off the register without informing. When advised why "you have missed to many appointments" nope you cancelled as you had no dentists. 15 years at this practice!! Bring back Elwy dental practice.

Negative experience: Seems to be very badly organised. Appointments constantly being delayed or cancelled. Hung on the phone recently for 20 minutes before it was answered, all this time being told I was no. 1 in the queue. Unbelievable.
