Very nice and cosy in the practice and was offered a drink on arrival, all very friendly staff. Mohammed and Joely - thankyou for seeing me and sorting me out. They made me feel very comfortable and talked me through the whole process making sure I was okay during the treatment. I left feeling genuinely more educated on how to properly clean my teeth and Lauren even gave me some useful tips for getting into a good routine of dental hygiene. Fantastic experience: Yumar has been my dentist for a few years now. He is a very dedicated and excellent dentist. He always gives a full explanation of any treatment required as well as the options available. He ensures his patients experience comfort and minimal/or no pain, whatever the procedure. Yumar did bridge of 4 teeth for my husband which looks so natural. I've just had some composites on my front teeth which were worn, chipped and uneven. Yumar has produced a perfect and again a very natural looking match. I am so pleased with the result. Thankyou Yumar and staff .

Positive experience: I came here through a friend's referral. I made an appointment with Mr. Yumar for my broken tooth. He completed all the procedures for that tooth very quickly. They also offered a 5-year warranty on the filling. But it would be much better if it was determined that a root canal was needed before the filling was done.

Fantastic experience: Just joined this practice. Felora Mirvakily is my dentist; she's an absolutely brilliant dentist. She's doing a fantastic job of my teeth, always reassuring, kind with good advice in what you need to do. I was considering going to Turkey, but when you have a good dentist on your doorstep, with a dentist like Felora; there's no need to travel, any issues, it's just down the road the rest of the team are the same very pleasant professional i would highly recommend this practice

Fantastic experience: Amazing service. After being in agony for almost 3 weeks and being misdiagnosed by my own practice 3 times, i was placed on a referral list for an extraction of a rear wisdom tooth. Still in agony and unable to wait i called 111 who gave me the number for Wisdom, i called and was given an appointment for the same day. Yumer diagnosed that i did not need an extraction but a root canal of the tooth in front of the wisdom and was booked to attend within 48 hours, he explained everything and why, until i fully understood. Yumer and the staff are thorough, professional and very attentive, i felt commutable and at ease the whole time during the procedure, and now am pain free. I have now joined wisdom and subscribed as a patient. Thanks to all the team. So grateful. x

She was not only incredibly thorough and professional, but also so warm and bubbly—it felt like I was chatting with a friend who just happens to be amazing at cleaning teeth! She explained everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and didn’t rush a thing. My teeth feel amazing and I left with a big smile on my face (a very clean one!). Fantastic experience: Such a lovely experience from start to finish! I had my scale done today and Lauren was absolutely brilliant. Not only was she super thorough and gentle, but she was also so bubbly and friendly—it made the whole appointment feel relaxed and even enjoyable (who thought I’d say that about a scale?). My teeth feel amazing—squeaky clean and fresh. You can really tell she takes pride in her work and cares about her patients. Highly recommend Lauren if you want top-quality care with a smile!

Negative experience: Told me they would contact me when I'm due for my next check up, they never did. So when I contacted them and asked if it was time for a check up they said they removed me from their list and now have to pay £50. Disgraceful.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Wisdom Dental for many years now and found them to be excellent in every respect. I have every confidence in Yumer my dentist. If you’re like me and scared of the dentist…. don’t be. With their straight to the point friendly attitude, I’m sure you’ll leave feeling happy and relieved about your visit.

Negative experience: On the surface this practice is very friendly and inviting. However, after my referral from NHS 111, I was told I needed three extractions and further work. They only removed one tooth. I questioned why not remove them all and was not given a reply. They were adamant that just one tooth was to be extracted and left my care at that. As soon as the anesthetic wore off I realised that I couldn't close my mouth properly nor chew without pain. I kept catching one of the non removed teeth on the tooth below when I wasn't paying attention and this caused considerable acute pain. The next day I visited a different dentist who removed the other two teeth and the root which Wisdom left behind. Wisdom didn't even bother telling me they had left the root in! My new dentist also formulated a complete care plan over a few appointments and communicated exactly what was to be done extremely well... and all for the same fee Wisdom charged me for the one extraction! NHS should cover ALL work as stipulated on the NHS website. Wisdom offered no such plan, yet they accepted me as an NHS patient. I'm on an extremely low income, but due to how NHS stipulate who gets free care, I do not qualify. Due to Wisdom not explaining that they wouldn't be doing ALL the work I have now had to pay twice by visiting a second and proper NHS dentist. Wisdom should have advised me that they are not fully NHS and would only be doing the immediate work. I'm now suffering financial hardship for the next few weeks as a result. With Wisdom I am now wise!!! I feel I was subjected to an extra x-ray, extra anesthetic, an extra day of soreness, extra charges and a wasted appointment with Wisdom. My appointment with Wisdom was a complete waste of time, and money. My visit to Wisdom curred my intermittent toothache (which had disapated by the time of my appointment) and replaced it with pain that I wasn't previously suffering from and an inability to eat... and they left the root in! They took my money and ran. My advice to anyone being referred by the NHS to this practice... don't! Find a proper NHS dentist who isn't just after a making a quick buck. Wisdom is a waste of time and money. I will soon be selling the asset which prevented me getting free NHS care. I will manage with the NHS dentures till then. I will then be looking for 7, maybe 8, implants done privately. The root Wisdom left in would then have to be removed. I'm sure Wisdom would have loved to charge me for removing what they left behind. I certainly won't be going to Wisdom for my private implants. What goes around comes around!

Fantastic experience: Well, my experience at this practice was great. The staff were all good, especially the dentist that treated me. I was a NHS111 customer in despair and cannot thank this practice and staff enough.

Negative experience: Nothing good about this place at all. Went a couple of weeks ago with a hole in one of my teeth and pain in another one. Hole was filled and they said that nothing was wrong with any of other my teeth. Couple of weeks gone by pain has got worse each day filling has fell out and tooth has started to break and crumble. Pain was 10/10 kept me awake most of night rang for an appointment was told the next appointment was tuesday next week. Offered me a sit and wait appointment then proceeded to say i would only get anti biotics and i would still have to wait for a treatment appointment! I said forget it ill go somewhere else and put the phone down. Shes Then gone and told her collegue i was rude and abusive so ive just had a phone call from another non caring receptionist who didnt really listen to my side of the story she believed her collegue who said that i swore at her and was rude and abusive when that wasnt the case! If your in pain they do not care. They will offer you appointments in 1 2 3 weeks time and just expect you to 'deal' with it. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IVE HAD ISSUES THERE HAS BEEN NUMEROUS TIMES! The Reception staff are also very rude and abrupt seem bored and like they dont want to be there

Fantastic experience: My son was in absolute agony with his wisdom tooth,his own dentist was incompetent, he rang wisdom clinic up and the tooth was gone the next day...absolutely brilliant dentists,he is now registering there...can't thank them enough.

Negative experience: Went to this dentist was quoted 900 pound 400 to have my teeth out then 500 for dentures so I agreed I have had my teeth out now at 400 when I have gone for a moulds they now tell me my dentures will cost me 1300 how can they move the goal posts like that after taking the teeth out if I was told this in the first place I would not of had all my teeth out this is a very under hand way of doing things and I will be complaining to the highest level as I am now stuck with no teeth to add a not to this I have now been to another dentist in Chesterfield and I am having my dentures done for 595 so this makes it worse with the price they tryed to put it up to I have also been in touch with the cab and they have told me who to make a complaint to so will be doing this after work tomorrow anyway if your dentist does this dont fall for it and shop around not all dentist are this dishonest

Positive experience: The dentists are marvelous the reception staff are sharp and abrupt, sound bored and behave as if they are doing you a favour. Poor representation of the wonderful.dentists and very negatuvenin the manner they deal.with people.

Negative experience: I had a referral sent here this week via NHS 111 when my son had tooth ache, the receptionist wasn't helpful at all, she said they were full and I would have to ring round and find another dentist, very unhelpful.

Fantastic experience: Every time I go I am reminded how kind and understanding the chief dentist is. The current hygienist is bang-on and the reception Staff are courteous, helpful and polite too.

I have had to have lot of work done and not once did I leave feeling dissatisfied. On the contrary they are all very professional and take pride in giving the best service they possibly can.
