Fantastic experience: Just wanted to write in and say how lovely Ellie and Zoe were yesterday afternoon! I was booked in for my first filling and was petrified As soon as I seen Ellie and told her she instantly put my mind at rest and reassured me. I couldn’t believe how fine the filling was and I felt no pain at all. There was such a nice vibe in the room and I did joke that I would be back again today Just wanted to let the girls know that they made something I’d been so worried about for weeks, absolutely fine and they were honestly amazing

Fantastic experience: I recently had multiple dental implants with a sinus uplift done by Raj. From the first consultation, everything was explained clearly and professionally. The procedure itself was smooth and far less uncomfortable than I expected, and Raj was calm, gentle and reassuring throughout The implants healed very quickly with no discomfort and the follow up fitting of the crowns went extremely well along with the aftercare. The final results look and feel completely natural and have restored both my confidence and ability to eat comfortably again. I’m genuinely grateful for the skill, care and professionalism shown throughout by Raj and his team. I would highly recommend Raj to anyone considering dental implants. Fantastic experience: As a family, we are all patients at Portchester Dental Practice and always receive excellent, professional and gentle care at all times. The whole team are unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. The practice also benefits from totally up to date technology. It has taken some time for me to pluck up the courage, but I have just completed a course of treatment to have two implants fitted. Raj was very thorough in explaining the whole procedure and gave the reassurance I needed. He also has great patience, as I was very interested in the engineering aspects involved - probably not the run of the mill patient! I am absolutely delighted with my new teeth and have already forgotten they are there which, strangely, is really the best compliment I can give. I should also add that Raj has a quiet, calm and relaxed approach, which is ideal if you are of an anxious disposition. I have been lucky and had several very good dentists over my 64 years, but Raj is definitely the best.

Fantastic experience: I’d been going back and forth for ages about starting Invisalign, and after a lot of research I finally booked a free consultation elsewhere. Unfortunately, I left that appointment feeling ashamed, anxious, and completely put off the idea. Months later, Invisalign crossed my mind again and I came across Portchester Dental Practice. It was within walking distance from home/office and offered Saturday appointments — perfect. I figured I had nothing to lose by trying another free consultation. I arrived with a clear idea of what I wanted but also a lot of worry after my previous experience. What happened next couldn’t have been more different. From the moment I booked over the phone, to meeting the receptionist, to sitting down with Gayatri, I felt genuinely welcomed and at ease. Every question and concern I had was treated with patience, kindness, and real care. I left that appointment feeling excited, confident, and ready to begin. That was months ago, and I’m now halfway through my treatment with zero regrets. I’ve had nothing but a positive experience. I can’t praise Invisalign, Portchester Dental Practice, and especially Gayatri enough.

Fantastic experience: My usual reviewing range is hotels, restaurants and the like. But today’s review is a little different. So it’s my dentist. “Dentist” I hear you say in a quizzical tone. My reviews invariably focus on service that I have received across all manner of means and although dentist is not one that springs easily to mind great service deserves a thoughtful and positive review. I recently had reason to have an implant fitted into my upper left jaw. The gap had been allowed to heal from the loss of a tooth last year and yesterday was the date planned for the fitment of the implant pin. It’s a complex procedure that requires great accuracy and preparation. I have to say that my experience of the whole process was outstanding from Dr Raj and Fiona. An excellent briefing to put my nerves to rest and with a 45 minute duration there was lots of time to recover and be well informed as to how the process was going. The before and after X-rays were such a great idea, as it gives the patient (me) the visual explanation of what I have just received. A wide screen TV with digital X-rays made me smile at how far technology has come from my first dental visit as a child in the Sixties. Post op I was given a bag of goodies with soft toothbrush, specialist mouth wash and medication for pain control and infection prevention. I walked home gently surprised that I had felt no pain throughout the process and even as I entered cold air I was pain free. Later in the day when I expected the anaesthetic to have worn off and pain rear its ugly head, I felt no pain at all. Now as I write this summation on the following morning I am very happy and pain free. So why write this? In this day and age the user/recipient/customer, call them what you will, tends to look for reassurance and clarification via internet reviews that they are making the right choices for their expected service. I’ve just been on the receiving end of a very polished and professional service and the very least that deserves from me is a huge vote of thanks. I cannot recommend Dr Raj and his team at Portchester Dental Practice highly enough. Very many thanks, PB

Fantastic experience: My experience at the dental practice is the best. Everyone was/is very kind, Dr Raj has hands and heart of gold, he did my implant and I’m very grateful. He’s kind, patient and an amazing dentist. I also want to thank Fiona for being so kind, caring and for holding my hand (literally) during the procedure. What a fantastic team!! Rang at 0910 with a few days of toothache, very friendly and understanding receptionist, same-day appointment arranged at 1130, treated so courteously by Raj and his technician. X-ray explained, expert advice and reassurance provided. It's 5 stars from me!

I recently needed a dental implant due to an issue with my tooth, and the entire team was incredibly accommodating from start to finish. They made me feel at ease, taking the time to explain every step of the process. Special thanks to Raj, who did an exceptional job with my implant. He was thorough, gentle, and kept me informed throughout the procedure. Thanks to him, I can now smile confidently again!

Fantastic experience: I had severe pain in the area where a tooth was due to come out in 2 days, went down to the surgery to see if someone could see me and was seen within 10mins of being there. Had an infection and given some antibiotics and was sent on my way. Everyone was really helpful and I really appreciated someone seeing me so quickly. Having the tooth removed was seemless, the dentist kept checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable and there were no issues due to the infection. As always dream dentist appointment

Rag is so gentle and has gone above and beyond to put a smile back on my face. Positive experience: The actual dentist man is lovely and very professional, with friendly boundaries. I've never had a problem with him but the receptionist staff lady is always very rude to me.
