When had treatment, every step of the work was told along the way. This makes the visit less worrying and more relaxing. Unlike what I have had at previous dentists over the years. Fantastic experience: Today I started the procedure to have a crown at the top rear of my mouth. I’m petrified of mouth injections, however my dentist, Krisanth Ragudhas, talked me through the whole procedure and I can honestly say that I didn’t feel either of the 2 injections. He is an awesome dentist and I cannot praise him enough. The whole practice from reception to hygienists dental nurses are exemplary. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Dentists and Dental hygienist very professional and hygienist was very gentle and careful due to my sensitive gums so was pain free.

Negative experience: Don’t reply to me. I already told you in detail in person and you refuse to do your job. Not able to remove build up of food off teeth that has awkward groove shapes. Between teeth too if have a small mouth and small gaps between each teeth. They tried being nice and supportive but don’t believe me. Won’t refund me for not cleaning teeth properly and I sent 2 emails showing where wasn’t cleaned properly. Won’t reply for a month to me.

Positive experience: Teeth are sensitive after being advised to have some composite coverings as my gums are receding but after treatment my tooth is sensitive and prior to this they were fine , hoping it will pass

Negative experience: No issues with the treatment when I'm there. However, getting through to this place on the phone is poor. Long wait times, no indication of how long and I would leave a message for a call back but the last 2 times ive done that, nobody has called back. The annoying IVR message tops it off with quotes such as "we offer modern dentistry" but the experience of calling is more linked to the 90s.

They have met me halfway with my sensory/communication difficulties in going to the dentist and made sure I’m still comfortable and settled whilst there. For anyone with an autistic or severely anxious friend/family member, this kind team asks no questions and works with you. Couldn’t imagine a better place to go!

Fantastic experience: Hadn’t been to a dentist for years, and the receptionist was really kind and helpful. The dentist and assistant put me at ease as was quite nervous. I went for a check up but knew I needed a filling before hand as it had come out years ago. I was told the filling would have to be another day due to timing of patients. Upon inspection the dentist said she could do the filling now as the tooth in question was in good condition for it as needed minimal prep work. The filling was done quickly and I am very happy with the result. Thank you for your amazing service.

Fantastic experience: This was an NHS appointment for the six months checkup. The appointment was on time, and the staff were polite and helpful. The dentist is very good at the practical work but always explains his findings and suggests treatment options.

Fantastic experience: Me and my family have been coming here since it opened. Krisanth is the most patient dentist we have ever had. He always explains things fully and puts our minds at ease. My kids don’t mind going to the dentist anymore since we joined here. All staff are friendly and accommodating if an emergency arises.

Positive experience: I have been attending this dentist for a few years now. At one point I had a horrendous experience with an incredibly rude and obnoxious female dentist, who mocked me for being on benefits at the time. I made an official complaint and I felt the apology I received from her was mostly just excuses. That being said, the manager dealt with the complaint very well and is lovely. They changed my dentist and I now have a young man who is wonderful. Very knowledgeable and understanding. He is thorough while still being quick and runs on time. Reception staff are great and the dental assistant today was fab too. I assume that my original experience was out of the ordinary for this branch. And they've made up for it since. Id recommend this branch - with the caveat of avoiding that spiteful woman.

Positive experience: I was trying to get in contact due to a health concern. Left on hold for 40 mins and then they picked up the phone to slam it down. So I never talked to anyone. They also state that they close at 6pm. It's 5pm and the lines are closed. Through email I managed to get an emergency appointment and I thought everything was smooth and professional. The dental side was great however there's a problem with the reception.

Negative experience: The hygienist is good....Their reception staff are shocking. When I complained the practice shrugged it's shoulders. They acknowledge the phone never gets answered and don't care. They provide slow and inconsistent replies to emails. They select money over good and clear dental advice. All in all rubbish and I only use them as they are local.

Negative experience: Never answer phone and keeps saying there closed even when they have just opened. need to sort things out.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a very positive experience at Portsmouth Dental Care (North) and wanted to share my feedback. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. My dentist and the dental nurse were both exceptionally friendly, approachable, and professional throughout the entire appointment. Overall, I’m very pleased with the level of care I received. If I had to suggest anything for improvement, it would only be to maintain this high standard consistently, as it truly makes a difference to patients. Thank you to the team for such a positive experience.

Negative experience: I don’t think these guys have had any training , I have been waiting for ages for an appointment after cancelling with plenty of time . Cover up artist when mistakes are made very very expensive , pretending they are NHS when it’s designed to bring To make money a business who cares little the the customer . ! Just today's they cancelled an hour before a family members appointment , when for the same offence would threaten to remove you . Also notice the same reply to all comments which proofs with the contact the manager comment . Wow the worst dentist I have ever been too.

Fantastic experience: Professional and efficient dental practice. Very friendly dentist with good communication and information about my, and my children's teeth health. Totally trust and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Negative experience: I generally find this practice quite inflexible if you need to cancel at short notice but then will call you if they need to move your appointment to fit in someone else. I can't fault the treatment I received but the admin and reception are the ones that made me stop coming back.

Fantastic experience: I saw the hygienist today, Asia, and can honestly say she was incredible. She carried out my OHT, hygiene, and polish, and made the whole experience so comfortable. I’m not usually a fan of hygienist appointments as I often find them painful or unfriendly, but Asia was the complete opposite — welcoming, kind, and clearly very thorough in her work while genuinely caring about how I felt throughout. There was no pain at all, the service was friendly and professional, and I’ve already rebooked. Thank you *****

Negative experience: twice they have cancelled my appointment!

Negative experience: Cancelled by appointment within 24 hours due to a bad cold. Received a text saying my slot may not be filled, Ive wasted the dentist’s time, it’s unacceptable and one more cancellation and I’ll be banned. I phoned to explain that I was well enough to come in but I felt it was inconsiderate to my dentist and other patients to have me there coughing, sneezing, blowing my nose and generally spreading germs but if I was to be penalised for not coming in then I would. Turns out my slot had been filled so I’d wasted nobody’s time and yet they kept the “first strike” on my records as it’s company policy. So if you do join this practice then make sure you still go in, even when you’re gagging up phlegm as they’d prefer to subject their dentists and patients to this rather than have you cancel out of courtesy to everyone. Practice manager not returning my calls or replying to my emails.

Fantastic experience: My 8 year old daughter is anxious about dentist visits, but Dr Masoud is excellent at putting her at ease with his gentle manner and clear explanations of what is happening. As a family, we’ve all had good treatment here and manage to get regular check ups.
