Fantastic experience: Without an NHS dentist for a couple of years, due to local closure. Registering and first appointment all easily done. After assessment an old filling and chipped tooth fixed. Then fitted with a nightgaurd to prevent any further damage. All staff professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We have received excellent service as a family at Smile. They have been very accommodating and supportive with our children and in an emergency situation saw our child on the same day! When our daughter was going to volunteer work abroad the dentist filled out her forms with kindness. Great dentist!

Negative experience: Brutal dentist also very poor staff receptionist never answered phone

Negative experience: Registered here as a new patient and had a check up (had been 1 year since my last). I was told I had 7 cavities and needed fillings for them all. Have since had two second opinions who said my teeth are completely fine. Complete scammers, telling a 25 year old she needs to have 7 of her teeth irreversibly drilled into and filled just for a bit of profit is awful. Bushwereb should be avoided at all costs

Negative experience: Staff are disorganised and give incorrect information about appointments. Waited over an hour to be seen this is to do with a combination of reception booking appointments wrong and MOCHLI being more interested in chatting to patients about their holiday homes. No communication about wait times no apologies for running late. Staff lie and say he’ll only be 5 more minutes waited over an hour for my 10 minute emergency appointment only to be told I would have to be charged privately for any work to be done that day. Absolutely shocking dentist avoid at all costs. The impersonal chat gpt response has elicited secondary rage and I would like to add when I called the practice to get the name of the person I should complain to they resisted asking me what I wanted that information for insisting that if I had a complaint that I should email the practice rather than the owner likely so they could sweep it under the rug hoping I go away (which I did until now)

Fantastic experience: Have just completed a course of dental treatment having not been to a dentist in a lot of years due to anxiety issues with dentists I could not fault the care and kindness throughout talked me through every procedure and put me at ease.

Negative experience: Disappointed! I’ve been registered at smile for nearly 2 years, and have tried to give the team the benefit of the doubt on every occasion but the dental care and customer service is so poor I have now left.

Fantastic experience: First rate 10/10 dentist, best treatment I’ve had and very confident in recommending them. Definitely felt like a well run practice with good results and careful treatment throughout. High recommended. Mix of NHS and private treatments from 2022-2024.

Negative experience: my mum has recently been here for for treatment after loosing most of her teeth throught trauma while my sister was dying of cancer.after getting the treatment done she left cause she embarrest. her friend took her back today as her mental health is terrible but she's left with her friend having to pay hundreds of pound for her to go back and get her top plate fixed. absolute shocking to let someone walk out of your establishment and declare this is good service

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sanwalka made a thorough examination of my teeth, answered all of my questions and concerns. Gave a special toothpaste for my teeth right away and printed a detailed explanation of my conditions and advice on how to maintain my teeth healthy. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Fantastic experience: Very impressed. Recently registered at Smile as a new NHS patient. Had first check up today. Very nice friendly receptionist . Dentist (Mr Aziz) was great - very friendly. Didn’t rush. Gentle. Took time to explain things & discuss options. I will happily return.

Fantastic experience: I really struggle with anxiety over having any dental procedures done but Mr Mochli has been so patient with me over the past year or so that I have been registered with Smile and worked with me to have the courage to have a tooth extraction which had been needing done for at least a year! The practice is pristine and reception staff are welcoming!

Negative experience: Do not visit! They extracted two front teeth that should never have been done and put in really bad dentures! The treatment I have had is now being corrected by a professional dentist! Also they way they speak to you is very condescending… I do not recommend.

Negative experience: AVOID AVOID AVOID, HORRIBLE TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE WITH MOCHLI. both myself and partner have made complaints to ombudsmen about MOCHLI. complaints procedure within clinic is non existent. and reading the reviews here confirmed we are not the only ones who have suffered. MOCHLI is dangerous and should not be treating people. My scale and polish was traumatising, Mochli started my appointment, then told me to come back two hours later to finish the treatment,it was a sunday appointment and not worth the 25 minute journey home to come back, so i hung around the town stupidly waited 2 and half hours ( mochli still wasnt ready) and i couldnt physically wait any longer and left, when i went back for another appointment he was very brutal with myself , i was terrified, he told me to quieten down while he had his hand in my mouth, i had said nothing!!! he said he didnt want me to scare his patients. i was physically sick when i left, my husband was next, my husband had no idea what had just happened, i was in shock and vomiting outside, then my husband had mentioned during his treatment that he thought mochli was a bit heavy on the hands, my husband was then told to leave and not to come back half way through his treatment. Mochli has proceeded to strike us both off and accuse myself and my husband of being abusive and aggressive towards mochli which is utter lies. i was terrified!

Negative experience: RUN AWAY!!! I had a terrible experience with this practice. And now I'm told by my friends that everyone knows Smile offers a terrible service on both professional and personal levels. I wish I had known that before wasting my time and money with them! I think the name of the "dentist" was Dr Mohili. I don't even know that for sure because he's not listed on the webpage. Is he a real dentist at all? The practice entrance has two diplomas on the wall, and none belong to him. Two weeks ago, he went really low: he blamed the lab for missing part of my treatment, but it turned out he was the one not doing everything the lab requested. It was clear since "the missing part" was something he had never done before. After several months of bad treatment, I had to put my foot down once he yelled at me. Nothing you ask is relevant, he doesn't explain the course of treatment or address the patient's concerns. His lemma is: "I'll do what you want me to do". Am I a dentist to know what has to be done? Just a really bad professional (if accredited at all). After saying I was not satisfied with how he treated me, I requested another dentist to finish my treatment, which was denied. After I described the problems and asked the practice to answer, I got an answer by email that he's the one addressing complaints! Dr Mohili and I had problems from the start, but I decided to accept his bad behaviour because I was too worried about my tooth and my ability to eat. And today, my crown fell off. I contacted NHS24 and they told me to contact the practice I'm registered with. Guess what: I'm not registered with the NHS after all. After almost three months of treatment, they hadn't registered me. I'm shocked. I thought it couldn't be worse, but they found a way to surprise me. So now I really suspect they are running some clandestine practice. Appointments only on the weekends, dentists without accreditation, and patients without being registered with the NHS. So this review is just a start and I'll pursue this matter further. And, of course, get my money back, since my time I can't recover. In short, the problems I faced were: - Unclear explanations (if any) about the treatment - Lack of empathy - Lack of professionalism - Rudeness - Dismissiveness RUN AWAY! I should have known it was a bad service when I learned it was the only available. But since it was the only one available, I decided to try. Counting the time and money wasted, I would be better in the private sector, for sure!

Fantastic experience: Managed to get an emergency appointment as my usual practice were unable to remove a wisdom tooth after 90 minutes of endeavour . At Smile the tooth was removed painlessly and professionally in five minutes. I will have no hesitation in returning for further treatment should it be required.

Fantastic experience: I had a scale and polish done recently. Dr Kader was very professional and completed the procedure quickly and with a minimum of pain. I immediately feel a lot more confident with my smile and can definitely recommend them for anxious patients

Negative experience: I was seen by Mr. Kadar and I would not recommend- he is rough, unprofessional, and not the brightest. I needed radiographs following a push bike crash and my dentist back home recommended I get them this week. First, Mr. Kadar tried to tell me that my amnesia from the accident was was basically the same thing as losing consiousness which is not true and not even remotely in his scope of practice to comment on. My upper lip has many stitches in it and he made no attempt to be gentle and pulled harder on it when I said “ow” so I had to push his hands away. He was then very rude and I had to offer to hold my lip for him to continue his exam (and sure enough my lip did not need to be yanked to the max for him to see my teeth) He then tried to make me remove my nose ring for the XR. I declined and of course it did not obscure the film. He said I definitely needed a root canal but both dentists in the states who looked at my radiograph said it’s too soon to tell, and one of them specializes in root canals and restoration. I wonder how many patients have unnecessarily received a root canal at Mr. Kadar’s recommendation. In the waiting area, a sign states they will charge you £1 per minute that you are late for your appointment yet he called me back 24 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to start. I realize sometimes other patients may need more time, but it would’ve been nice for him to at least acknowledge his tardiness. Thankfully I am a clinician myself and comfortable advocating for my needs but I can imagine this whole experience could be quite traumatic and confusing if one is not comfortable speaking up or doesn’t have a trusted dentist to return home to!

Fantastic experience: I was there some time ago for scaling. I was affraid but the staff was very proffessional and it was proper service there. Dr Abdul (as far as I remember his name) is kind and gently as his nurse aswell so there is nothing to be affraid. The treatment is perfect and Ill go there again soon. Highly recommend

Negative experience: DON'T GO THERE!!!!! I was seen by A. Kadar. The guy is a butcher. He has no clue about hygiene, inlays or crowns. Due to his not existing knowlege I had the worst infection. Due to this I lost 3 teeth.... now I'm stuck with a tremendous bill to get it fixed. DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Great dental practice. Polite, caring and friendly. Mr Sanwalka explains everything which then helps you to make an informed decision. Very happy.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Sanwalka is exceptional. He gives precise and honest feedback/advice that is easy to understand in a non-judgemental way. He seems to enjoy his job and is well trained. He is also good with children and those who have anxiety. Very caring and understanding clinic. Receptionists are friendly. They do NHS and also private.

Negative experience: One star for waiting months for an appointment, now the dentists decide to take long periods of leave that just increases the back log.
