Arbroath Road Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience at the practice as a new patient recently. It was very relaxed and the staff are very friendly and polite.

Negative experience: I would stay clear women with blonde hair that answers calls is rude and try’s to blame you. I panicked after them telling me I would need to wait 14 weeks for a new denture after I started to panic she hung up phone no swearing no been rude just sheer panic crying as 14 weeks without front teeth is not good. My daughter then called and was told I could still be seen up till the 17th of April she is a helth care provider on this call the said they messed up and it would still take 14 weeks for a plate to be made..they also said they would be changing there name and I should contact relevant board to put in a complaint against them.. they messed up and won’t help fix there own mistake

Negative experience: Missed one appointment and got de registered. Horrible service had to call 10 times before someone picks up

Negative experience: Dropped because I missed an appointment, even though I phoned 3 hours before to cancel due to illness, have been with them for 20+ years and only ever missed about 3 appointments.. seems to be s growing trend with this dentist when your a NHS patient, they would rather have full paying patients

Fantastic experience: The dentist and dental nurse were amazing with my son who had to have a tooth removed. It was quick, as painless as they could make it and just an easy process overall. Thank you all so much!

Negative experience: Have been here before and had a good experience, but today was charged the private fee for a hygienist appointment (£35) instead of the NHS fee (£15) despite being registered there as an NHS patient and having NHS checkups there in the past. Was a bit shocked when I heard the price and stupidly paid before saying anything. Apparently I have to specify when I book that I want an NHS appointment, not a private appointment? I've never had to do this before. Bizarre.

Negative experience: Rude receptionists. No customer service. Abrupt, talking over me, shouting at me down the phone, then hung up. Very unprofessional. Don't enrol here. Plenty of other nice places. Would have rated it zero stars if I could. AWFUL. **Edited in light of response*** If you are insisting adherence to a policy you never set out in the first place, there is a WAY of Communicating. Shouting, talking over, being abrupt and rude is not it. ZERO Customer service. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: Truly fantastic treatment from every single member of this excellent team. I've experienced genuine care, compassion and reassurance at all my appointments. They definitely deserve 5 stars.

Negative experience: Make sure you don't miss your appointments if you are on the NHS as you to get taking off the list de registered. 1 strike and your out absolutely shocking no warning or nothing.

Fantastic experience: Like a lot of people in my age bracket, there is fear around dental visits. However, in this practice, from reception, dental hygienist to dentist and dental nurse.... it has been nothing short of one of the best medical experience ever. Great job everyone. I can honestly say....I am ready for the next appointment.

Negative experience: Appalling service on sons dentures

Fantastic experience: Both my boys seen Vijay at there recent appointment, they haven't been registered with a dentist for a while as they been going to the Dental Hospital, I have one son that's doesn't bother about the dentist and another who is petrified, it would normally take over an hour to just get the varnish protection put on and he would cry all the way through it, Vijay was very patient and talked him through everything he was going to do , think my son was in the chair less than 10 minutes getting the varish done and no tears, he also said he would be happy to go back, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Always love coming here I’m a very nervous patient and these guys always take there time and can always feel relaxed here 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: I took my 9 year old daughter to see VJ this week, she is scared and nervous about the dentist. However VJ completely put her at ease. Such a nice friendly man, the staff also are so down to earth and polite. My little girl says "I like that man" when we left. No more tantrums to go to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Went in today and saw vjay,can I say what a different experience altogether from old dentist max. I was made to feel very welcome from jodi and kirsty Vjay is such a gentleman I will no longer fear going back to the dentist

Fantastic experience: Had a dental implant put in from this practice a few years back, can honestly say they were fantastic, recently I was going on holiday and needed an emergency appointment to have tooth removed, VJ and team were able to accommodate me a very short notice, full praise for all team

Fantastic experience: Vijay, Kirsty & Jodi. Vijay put me at ease don't particularly like dentist but so very gentle in every aspect of dentistry. Would highly recommend. Nothing too much trouble. Both Kirsty & Jodi nurses also very professional in all aspects.

Fantastic experience: VJ, Kirstie and Jodie do a fantastic job! I am the most nervous patient ever and I cannot recommend them enough!! VJ is so patient and the nurses are so supportive! I can smile again!!! thank you all so much xx Ps they are accepting new NHS patients from 1st June!!

Fantastic experience: VJ and Jodie were amazing today . I was so scared getting teeth out and they put me at ease. Very patient and let me get my breathe back each time before carrying on with procedures. Highly recommend VJ as a dentist and Jodie to hold your hand if needed :) Receptionist is lovely too

Negative experience: The guy denied had appointment after my mum phoning complete shambles reported my mum to socialworker not knowing she was a socialworker. Lol joke of place.

Negative experience: Phoned these people during holiday ignored messages about my child left had phone up kingcross to phone them, they phoned me promptly, denying i had even i have all my phone them. They make appointment with you get up deny your registered and had the apoointment then try take the nurses try take mick because know illness and triggered me. Disgusting. Then threatened phone social service can wait to see the for malparactice. They are very disrespectful upset my daughter by denying she registered. And i had teatment in lockdown. I will take this further. Dont you worry about that.

Negative experience: Absolutely shambles of a place! Head nurse needs to go and have a course on customer relations, her attitude stinks!! Had the audacity to put the phone down on me too.. Needless to say won't be back there!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this dental practice for years and seen by Max and AJ. Would highly recommend this practice for their professionalism and friendly approach. The dental nurses are also very welcoming and helpful.

Negative experience: Had dropped in as my girlfriend is in severe pain! So it's an emergency appointment but even though she's in severe pain the idiotic staff had carried on taking other patients first, excuse! we didn't make an appointment! And Emergency comes above all else, regardless of other bloody patients! This place is a disgrace!!! . Receptionist didn't even process the form given to her, they should have seen her then and there, not make wait, my girlfriend is still in severe pain, so much so she can't even talk very much but what can we do about it as this needs to be dealt with now! Not whenever the other patients are gone! This place is a Joke! Completely unprofessional and uncaring!
