Fantastic experience: Let me be honest — I’m not usually someone who feels like I “fit in” with other girls, and when I first heard about House of Glow Worcester, I genuinely thought, “That’s too posh for me… I don’t belong there.” I wasn’t fancy, I didn’t feel beautiful, and I was nervous just thinking about going. But my legs were in so much pain that I finally bit the bullet and booked a lymphatic drainage massage with Jess, and wow — it completely changed my life. From the moment I met Jess, everything chaged. I walked in shy and unsure, and within minutes she made me feel so welcomed, so comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Jess is one of those rare people who doesn’t just make you feel heard — she lifts you up, even on your lowest days. What I love most about her is how real and down-to-earth she is. She doesn’t do fluff — she does exactly what your body needs, with absolute professionalism and skill you can trust without a second thought. Eight months later, I’m still coming back every 3–4 weeks — not just because she helps my legs feel light and alive again — but because Jess makes every visit feel like sunshine for the soul. She’s truly one in a million, and she has hands of pure gold. If you’re thinking about giving House of Glow a try — especially with Jess — just do it. You’ll be so glad you did. ❤️❤️❤️

Negative experience: Very disappointed with customer service, I was left sitting in the waiting area for 20 minutes before I was approached to tell me my appointment had been cancelled without my knowledge, no text and no email. Poor service and yet to receive my refund of the deposit!

Fantastic experience: I had my very first tattoo done with Sophie. I was so nervous to which she was very supportive and reassured me days before my appointment. I had decided to change my original tattoo idea to something smaller as I was a little anxious, Sophie was completely fine with this and once again reassured me. On the day of the tattoo I was greeted with some lovely ladies who made me comfortable, hung my coat up and offered me a drink. Sophie then did a test line of the tattoo beforehand to see how I felt about it which I very much appreciated. The tattoo area seemed very sanitised and had a calming feel to it, I was just in a room alone which I personally prefer rather than being tattooed with people watching and the sounds of needles surrounding me. I have now had my tattoo for 4 days and I can honestly say all of the aftercare advice I was given is going brilliantly. I absolutely love my tattoo and I’ve had so many compliments it’s just what I wanted! Thankyou so much I will definitely be returning for more!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Ellie (oh my hur) for years and there is no one else I’d ever trust with my hair. She’s an actual angel… one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met! She’s honestly unbelievable at what she does and puts so much heart into her work. The best! xo

Fantastic experience: Always the go to place for a spray tan with the book with your bestie, Jess is super friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. The tan always turns out amazing! :)

Negative experience: I recently visited this salon for a refitting of two rolls of weft hair extensions. The stylist was very polite and communicative, which I genuinely appreciated and made me feel comfortable during the appointment. However, unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet my expectations. Firstly, I found it surprising that my hair wasn’t straightened after the refit it’s something I’ve always had done in the past and it helps the extensions blend better. After leaving the salon, everything seemed fine at first, but later that day one of the micro rings fell off. The next morning, I noticed that the extensions were very visible you could clearly see the difference between my natural hair and where the extensions started. Styling became difficult too. I couldn’t even tie my hair in a ponytail because the first roll was fully exposed. On the right side, one part of the extension was touching my ear, which felt uncomfortable and just wrong in terms of placement. Then, just two weeks later, another micro ring fell off. For reference, when I had my extensions put in the first time, they lasted six weeks with no problems at all so I know how they should feel and hold. Sadly, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this salon for hair extension refits.

Fantastic experience: I’m new to the area but I’ve found my new favourite salon straight away ☺️ Booked in for a cut & blow dry with Ellie, who is not only a fantastic hairdresser, but also an absolute sweetheart. I was immediately met with a warm and friendly atmosphere, and special shout out to Jess who went out of her way to welcome me and have a chat - it meant a lot. I can’t wait to come back, by far the best experience I’ve ever had, 10/10 ⭐️

Fantastic experience: I visited on March 4th for a Body Sculpting - Torso or Front/Back Legs session with Jess. This was my first time in a cosmetics salon, and I usually find places like this a bit intimidating, especially one as pristine and pinterest worthy. I always wonder if I should look more put together beforehand or if I’ll feel out of place, especially as someone younger. But from the moment I walked in, I was welcomed so warmly. Jess put me at ease right away, explaining everything step by step so I knew exactly what was happening and what it meant for me. I felt totally comfortable, relaxed, and even had a great chat with a few laughs along the way. By the time I left, feeling a little bit more ✨snatched✨ I had a little extra spring in my step—like she must have worked some magic, already looking forward to booking more sessions soon! So thank you. :)

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of House Of Glow since they opened. The salon is spotless, beautifully designed, and has such a calming atmosphere. It’s clear they take pride in their work and truly care about their clients. I left feeling like a goddess and I am beyond impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and felt right at home. I love the smell of burning natural incense and warm homely candles. The hairstylist Abbie was an absolute artist—taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted and giving me a cut and style that exceeded my expectations. My hair has never looked this good! As for the nail service, it was perfection. The nail technician was amazing, ensuring every detail was flawless. My nails are stunning, and the whole experience was so relaxing. I also have regular spray tans with Jess, she makes me feel so confident and relaxed with her calming energy. I can’t recommend House of Glow enough. If you’re looking for top-notch hair and nail services, this is the place to go! Looking forward to seeing you all again x

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this salon for years with always positive experiences and have recently started getting laser with Jess and it’s been amazing the results are incredible with low maintenance and I couldn’t feel more comfortable and welcomed! Would 100% recommend to anyone considering!!

Fantastic experience: I’m now coming towards the end of my laser hair removal journey, I opted for legs and arm pits and I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience. Fantastic experience: So happy with my results so far! Jess has been doing laser sessions with me and we’ve just finished the 4th treatment out of 6. I’ve had laser hair removal elsewhere a few years ago, spent A LOT of money, had 7 sessions and had zero difference. I could see a difference after just 2 sessions with Jess! Very excited to see the end results. Also, I love going to my appointments just for the catch ups, all the girls are so welcoming. Thank you for helping me on my mission to be smooth like a dolphin!

Fantastic experience: I have had lymphatic drain massage and face sculpt as well as a wooden massage annd tanning all by JESS. She is the warmest most friendliest person, she is someone you open up to without even realising. Apart from the amazing treatments you get a warm and friendly welcome. I have also just had tiny tattoos completed by Sophie, Norftattoos, she too is so lovely and funny and is a great artist. GREAT GIRLS!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had 2 lymphatic massage treatments, including wood therapy with Jess. They are AMAZING! So relaxing and I can already see and feel a big difference. Looking forward to my next treatment ☺️

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend HOG , the staff are fabulous , very flexible and with lots of really good advice if you want a change . Salon has a really chilled vibe but remains professional with high standards. I’ve left today , holiday ready - lashes , nails , hair , brows and facial all in the one salon . The salon is lovely, it’s clean and stylish and Jess has done a brilliant job with the salon and creates a really good atmosphere and relationship with clients. Fantastic experience: I have had many treatments over the years at House of Glow extending from teeth, body and to hair. I’ve always left feeling that beautiful place so confident and taken care of. This is a salon I always end up going back to due to the atmosphere and professional results. I feel very greatful we have a salon like this is in Worcester as places like this are very hard to come by. Jess and the Glow Gang team keep smashing it and I can’t wait to return

Negative experience: Don’t expect Instagram results! Left very disappointed with no resolution in place apart from paying again for no better result. I was really excited but left, never returning custom again. I was going to recommend a few people after today but told them all not to. Don’t waste your money.

Fantastic experience: Went to Ellie today to restore my hair and I’m beyond impressed!! Exactly what I asked for and was spot on with the image I showed her, my hair has never looked so good!! ❤️‍

Fantastic experience: Jess is an absolutely lovely person. Made me feel really comfortable while doing my spray tan. She listens to what I wanted delivered a great even tan. Definitely recommend going. Easy online booking system and opening hours make it easy to get in around my day job.

Fantastic experience: I've been having my hair done with Em for almost 12 months now and have had the best salon experience every time. Em is so knowledgeable and really takes the time to listen and discuss hair goals prior to starting any appointment , I've never once felt pressured into having anything done I'm not totally comfortable with when I see Em - which has happened at other salons in the past. Since seeing Em my hairs never looked better or been in better condition! Recently I have started laser hair removal treatments with Jess who is super lovely, knowledgable and creates a really comfortable environment to be in when having intimate treatments such as laser. After just one session I could already notice results which is amazing! The process is quick and painless but you're not rushed in and out again. I can't wait to see the results following my second laser session! The salon is clean, calm and welcoming as are all of the team adding to the lovely experience at House of Glow, highly recommended x

Negative experience: Called in to book an appointment and was told person I needed to speak to wasn’t in that day and they would get back to the next day. That was two weeks ago. I think they’re after a certain kind of client and I guess a disabled older woman isn’t it.

Fantastic experience: I went in with hair damaged from bleaching, cutting and colouring at home. Freya was so so kind, there was absolutely no judgement and we worked together to tidy my hair up. I cannot thank her enough

Fantastic experience: Incredible!! I first starting going to this salon around 1.5 years ago for my nails with Em, who's amazing through and through. I recently started doing body contouring with Jess and it's exceeded my expectations by miles!!! Jess made sure I was comfortable in every appointment, and made me feel at ease about each tool and what it does. She never failed to answer my questions and was transparent about everything in the process. I heard about body contouring but it's not very easy to find someone with the same level of professionalism and skill set as Jess, she really works her magic! Thank you so much for making me feel more confident and can't wait for my top up!

Fantastic experience: Visited House of Glow today to see Daisy, who did a LIFT spmu removal treatment on my brows! The salon was beautiful and clean, staff were super friendly and it was a lovely atmosphere. The treatment itself was also fantastic and I can’t wait to come and have my second one! Daisy was really knowledgable and so talented at what she does! Thank you!

Negative experience: Unreliable & unprofessional I had been going to Emily at House of Glow for almost two years; I always loved the way my hair turned out but sadly, after receiving a last minute cancellation (over text) for the fourth time in the near two years I’d been going, I’ve had to find elsewhere. The final straw was being cancelled on three hours before my appointment where I was getting my hair coloured and cut for my hen weekend. I appreciate no one can help being ill but when I’d explained that it was a really special weekend for me, that it had been months since my hair was last done, that it wasn’t the first time I’d been cancelled on last minute and asked if there was anyone else who could step in to help, I wasn’t offered a solution (other than to wait and see if she was going to feel better, which I didn’t want to risk - and didn’t have much faith!) and I didn’t feel valued as a client whatsoever. I then spent the afternoon before my hen weekend, pretty upset, walking around town to see if someone else could give me at least a cut and blow dry. Thankfully, another hairdresser at a different salon went out of her way to come in on her day off at 7.30am the next day so that she could sort my hair out just before I left Worcester for my hen weekend. I felt more valued by that service than I did in the near two years as a client of House of Glow. To top it off, it took six days (after several text messages) to receive my £50 deposit back - which, in these times, is a lot of money to be waiting on. Overall, disappointed by the customer service and professionalism. I will not be returning to House of Glow and do not recommend. *UPDATE* Thanks for taking the time to reply to my review. I very much realise and understand that we’re all human, hence why I said ‘I appreciate no one can help being ill’, but that doesn’t address that I didn’t feel valued as a client - especially when paying over £150 for an appointment. I even expressed to Emily that I was sorry to hear she was unwell and hoped she felt better soon. I stated that the only solution I was offered was to wait and see if Emily felt better. I had asked if there was anyone else who could step in to help either that afternoon or early the next morning, but I was told that no was free to help that afternoon, which I totally understand, and that there was a team meeting the next morning, which I felt less understanding about as I’d have thought given the circumstances and as a returning client, could there not have been some exceptions made? It just felt like there wasn’t much effort put in to sourcing a proper solution. Looking back over my text messages, I had a cancellation on 31 Aug, 6 Sept (following the previous cancellation where I had to ask when I could next be fitted in for, only to then be told that day that it had to be rearranged again because she wasn’t actually available) and then 30th March just gone, for my hen weekend. The very first cancellation was over the phone, sometime in late 2021 - this being the first time was of course, not an issue, but when this became a recurring thing, that is why I have described my experience of the service as unreliable. In terms of the deposit, it was more the lack of communication - as well as length of time - that I was disappointed and frustrated by. I didn’t get a response after sending my bank details. I then messaged four days later (as I didn’t want to stress about it over my hen weekend, and I thought that was a decent length of time to give it, as I do understand refunds can take time) to ask when I could expect the money back. I had a response, a day later, to say ‘oh sorry I thought it had gone through’ and then I still had to chase the next day to confirm when it had gone through. This is why I have described my experience of the service as unprofessional. As mentioned I was always really pleased with the way my hair turned out so it is a shame to have to go elsewhere, but customer service is just as important as the hair results and I simply feel as though I cannot rely on your service any longer.

Fantastic experience: had a tooth gem by jess, i couldn’t recommend this place enough; truly. the whole atmosphere when you walk in is so welcoming and lovely for a start! Jess was so kind and talked through the whole tooth gem process; that was quick & easy in itself! she also went through the aftercare after the gem was placed, which was extremely helpful as i knew little to none about what to do. my tooth gem looked so cute when on!! if you are looking for a chill yet professional place to get a tooth gem; go to this place!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had 5 sessions of wood therapy body contouring and I couldn’t be happier with my results! I find the treatment super relaxing too. Will definitely be back for more treatments!

Fantastic experience: Body Contour Review: Always have the best experience at this salon :) At first I was slightly skeptical about body contouring actually working as it seemed too good to be true. However I am now 5 sessions in on my stomach area and I am blown away from the results! It has helped to reduce bloating and my stomach has shrunk a lot over the 5 week period, am excited to continue my body contour journey for even better results!! Would 100% recommend :)

Fantastic experience: I had my lashes done by Shae and i’m obsessed! Her lashing skills are just incredible. Ive never had such good retention. Her Y lashes are so beautifully natural. Shes also an incredibly kind, hard working technician, she deserves so much success!

Negative experience: Terrible hair cut, came home and cried my eyes out. Chloe from House of Glow was recommended to me to cut my very curly hair. She was very nice and very polite but clearly has no experience in cutting curly hair. She cut my hair wet (*which even google says don’t cut curly hair wet*), never even sectioned it; just grabbed random bits and cut them. After 25 minutes she said she’d finished cutting and putting layers in which she didn’t even do and then proceeded to dry my hair with a hair dryer with no diffuser on it. She styled my fringe and hair with water and hardly put any product on it at all, let alone curly hair product. My hair now looks like stairs and is so frizzy. When my mum questioned her cutting methods, she said that was how she was trained and seemed to think you treat curly hair the same as straight hair. As lovely as she was, she clearly cannot cut curly hair at all. Anyone with curly hair, i do not recommend. However, they are good with other beauty treatments and cuts. It’s such a shame because i cannot find any curly hairdressers in Worcester at all, we have to go all the way to Spring in Birmingham which is such a hassle. If she was trained in cutting curly & Afro hair then I think she’d be very successful in Worcester.

Fantastic experience: I went to House of Glow on the 18th Sept for a literal GLOW UP! I’d recently been in a car accident and it was my up and coming birthday. The customer service from all the queens that work there was Incredible and so understanding!!!! As soon as I arrived I was greeted by this worldie called pixie who sat me down chatted with me and made me feel comfortable whilst applying numbing cream to my lips, as it was my first time getting lip fillers. Her bubbly character made me feel at ease. She then introduced me to KJ who would be doing the aesthetic. Now KJ had me in fits of giggles from the start and was so down to earth and open and honest! She was very professional and throughout the appointment she kept asking if I’m okay and told me I’m doing very well. I left feeling insane! And as you can see from my pictures she did amazing work! Next pixie came to see how I was and brought me to my second appointment which was a brow lamination done by the lovely Abi. Abi was great to talk to and even gave me some top tips in regards to my brows and aftercare! Turned out looking bomb!!!! In the middle of my brow appointment pixie came over and went out her way to get me a bottle of water from the shop. Simple but nice touches like all the above really do make the experience. Loved meeting every single of these beautiful ladies! I will be back! Thank you so much again xxxx

Fantastic experience: I had teeth whitening at House of Glow - Diente Beauty with Jess. She was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in! She talked me through the process and constantly checked up on me to make sure I was at ease and comfortable. The results from the teeth whitening were absolutely astounding and I truly can't believe how white my teeth have become after just one session! Jess is a real diamond and I HIGHLY recommend her!

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic second experience at House of Glow. Chloe did a balayage with a beautiful tone and a hair cut and I’m delighted about it. I felt relaxed and really looked after, and I loved that Chloe took the time to complete a splendid job. She also suggested the Olaplex treatment and I’m glad I did it! After my first wash at home my hair feel so soft. I highly recommend Chloe at House of Glow and I will definitely go back again.
